In 2021 we began the process of decluttering our life. We sold our Connecticut home and a great deal of what we owned. I closed my business of 40 years, and Tammy left her University position. With no children or parents to keep us tied to CT, we decided to pursue an unencumbered life.
After a period of planning and preparation we decided to follow our passion for travel and embark on a journey across the globe. We will begin with 3 months in Europe to include the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Greece. We will continue onward through Turkey, and then explore Nepal, India and SE Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam) before returning to Europe.
We leave the US on July 27th (2022) and are excited to begin our journey abroad. This blog was created to offer family, friends and new friends an opportunity to follow our travel year. We look forward to sharing our photographs and experiences.
