While the Old Stone Bridge and St Peter's Cathedral are important landmarks of the City of Regensburg, there is one more which is equally worth mentioning, The Historische Wurtskuche!
Some consider this the oldest fast food restaurant, since it has been selling meat snacks to local workers beginning in 1146 when the old stone bridge was completed. Nearly 900 years later they offer tasty Bratwursts served on a brotchen with sauerkraut and mustard. You can sit down for a platter of wursts or like most locals order from the take out window, and enjoy the river view.
