Bodrum Turkey

We took the ferry from Symi to the island of Kos for a quick overnight, allowing us to catch the next day's morning ferry to Bodrum, Turkey. We're Leaving the EU with just 2 days to spare on our 90 day travel visa. We then entered Turkey without any problems, having applied in advance for a Turkish E Visa.

Our first impressions of Bodrum are quite favorable. Bodrum has been called the St Tropez of Turkey, and the harbor has several large marinas, and within the forest of sailing masts, are visible a number of upscale sailing yachts and expensive charter boats alongside traditional Turkish Gulets.

Stretching beyond the harbor, a large bay is ringed with trendy bars, shops and beach side restaurants with fresh fish on display ready for you to pick out your dinner.
