The Cotswolds

Our base in Gloucester, as it turned out, was an ideal location from which we could explore the picture postcard English villages which comprise the Cotswolds. Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, the Slaughters, Bibury and Painswick, were among the towns we visited. These charming villages, with buildings constructed using the distinct honey golden Cotswold limestone are absolutely delightful, and though each appear quite similar, they are each quite unique.

Here are a few photos from Chipping Campden, a town with perhaps the nicest High Street, where there are no house numbers, but instead, each dwelling has a name.
