A 2nd Sojourn 2 Spain

We are wintering (Dec, Jan, Feb) in the Andulucian region of southern Spain where the temperatures are pleasant and the streets are lined with leafy green orange trees. We’re considering this current stay in Spain as a respite from the energetic pace of travel over the last 18 months. In that time we explored 22 countries, and packed in a lifetime's worth of experiences and memories. But slowing down and simply enjoying a long restful stay in one country has been a welcomed change.

Unfortunately this change in pace along with my natural inclination towards procrastination has resulted in a lack of recent blog posts. Simply put, I’ve been busy, doing nothing…….

Well, doing nothing isn’t exactly correct, since we’ve been spending much of our time discussing and ruminating over our future travel plans. Originally we were returning to America in March to begin a year's journey through the states, with an eye towards finding the perfect place to settle down. But we decided not to put down roots just yet, and embrace our present ability to freely travel and extend our journey for another year. So, much of our free time here in Spain has been devoted to planning our future travels to Japan, Australia, Fiji, Samoa, New Zealand, and destinations yet to be determined........
