The Walk to Panauti for a Beehive

On our last day at the Namo Buddha Resort we once again engaged our guide, Binod. We are also joined by Sarah, our new German friend, also staying at Namo Buddha. Today we will walk down the mountainside through several villages, through mustard seed meadows, groves of wild orange trees, rice paddies and potato fields. The final destination is the heritage city of Panauti with its 13th century Hindu temples, and of course lunch. Since we will be returning by Taxi, Binod is taking the opportunity to transport a beehive purchased in town, back up the mountain with us.
